Tour Features

Diamond Head - Amelia Earhart Lookout

Our first stop is a lookout perched high on the eastern edge of Waikiki’s iconic Diamond Head. From here, you get sweeping views of Oahu’s southeastern coastline—on a clear day, you can even spot Hanauma Bay and, way out in the distance, the island of Maui. This spot is officially called the Amelia Earhart Lookout, named for the crowds who once gathered here to watch Earhart launch her historic solo flight from Hawaii to North America.

Halona Blowhole

The Halona Blowhole is the result of volcanic eruptions from Oahu’s Koko Head crater. When the lava cooled, it left behind a long tube that stretches out beneath the surface and opens up to the ocean. At just the right tide, waves rush in and force water through a small hole at the top—shooting out in a dramatic burst, like Hawaii’s own version of a geyser.

Makapu'u Point

This location is indeed known for its spectacular views of Oahu's windward coast and incredible sea cliffs, especially near Waimanalo. Also known as Manana Island or Rabbit Island. This nickname originates more from the fact that rabbits were introduced there in the 1880's.

Byodo In Temple (Admission Included)

The Temple grounds are a beautifully landscaped haven situated in a valley of the pali, inhabited by wild peacocks and numerous Japanese koi carp. The stunning grounds feature a spacious reflecting pond, meditation niches, and petite waterfalls. Visitors often characterize this location as beautiful, tranquil, and rejuvenating. Admission is included in the tour price.

Hawaiian Coffee and Macadamia Nut Tastings

Following a scenic drive along the eastern coastline of Oahu, we arrive at a quaint local shop nestled beneath ancient Banyan Trees. Here, visitors can indulge in tastings of macadamia nuts and exquisite Kona coffee, as well as a selection of enticing Hawaiian chocolates and other delightful treats.

Chinaman's Hat and Kualoa Valley Mountain Range

Chinaman's Hat, referred to as Mokoli'i, is situated adjacent to the Kualoa Valley Mountain range. This area is renowned for its striking scenery, which has been featured in several Hollywood films, particularly the beloved Jurassic Park and Disney’s live-action Movie Moana with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The island acquired the name Chinaman's Hat due to its likeness to the straw hats worn by Chinese immigrants while laboring on Oahu’s sugar plantations in the early 1900s.

Famous North Shore Shrimp Lunch on Local Hawaiian Restaurant

We pause for lunch at a nearby restaurant, where you can choose between the renowned North Shore Garlic Shrimp plate or various other local specialties. Options for non-shellfish and vegetarian diets are also provided. Kindly bring cash for your lunch.

Tropical Fruit Stands

Following lunch, we will visit a tropical fruit stand on the North Shore that provides ice-cold coconuts for drinking, fresh mangos, and various other tropical delights.

North Shore Sunset Beach

A change of pace from the crowded beaches of Waikiki, The infamous Sunset Beach on the North Shore offers tranquility and is the epitome of a beautiful Hawaiian Beach. However don’t lets the summer months fool you, during the winter months, swells of 30 to 40 feet can be seen from the safe confines of shore.

Hawaii Green Sea Turtle Spotting on the North Shore

Honu is the Hawaiian term for our cherished Green Sea Turtles. These Honu embody the spirit of Hawaii, as they enjoy lounging on the sand and soaking up the warm sun. We will take you to a beach where we aspire to witness this remarkable sight.

Dole Pineapple Plantation

Lastly we visit Hawaii's historic pineapple plantation featuring pineapple magnets, t-shirts, keychains, and most notably, pineapple ice cream known as Dole Whip! This is an excellent way to conclude your day while acquiring pineapple-themed souvenirs for your friends and family back home.
